Overview: The Signal Project
The goal of this project is to create as many, if not all, train signals that were used in North America railroading. This page will serve as a template and guide for which signals to make. Here is the starting list of signals that were the most common with the signal having a link to the project.
Color light
Tri-light
Position light
Searchlight
Color position light
Semaphore
Two notable items about the signal project is some signals can be created by swapping the single color LED for the colored LED such as going from position to color light and some have smaller derivatives or hole coverings. These changes will link to the same area for simplicity, but a divider at some point in the document for the change. Here are pictures of the main signal types for reference.
